Faux Epic 12

Finished another drawing in between other projects.I'm pretty sure I ripped off her armor's symbol from somewhere but I can't remember where. She started off strong and confident and I think as the anxiety from me moving kicks in more, I gave her a more apprehensive facial expression.

Tried out some mixed media techniques. Ultimately unhappy with the results, but hey, the world can always use another orc.

So in an unexpected twist, I suddenly turned back on.  I've been productive for the first time in a long time. I think it has to do with me putting off thinking about moving.  Not that pulling creative strength from the need to escape surprises me at all.  These are real drawings, done on paper, which outside of the figure drawings and bored doodles at work,  I haven't really done in a while. I guess I have 2 months of creativity left.

I think. . . there is no more perfect a medium . .  than ink.

This was the first session I used only a terra cotta pencil for the longer drawings.  I like the results and have been toying here and there with ways to up the quality much like how I added the colored pastels to the conte drawings, even months later though I find something untouchable about this look.  Maybe its time to change media again.
